Job Overview
The Vice President, Operational Excellence & Chief of Staff leads the Care Teams Operational Excellence function as a major department within Care Delivery. This VP is an integrative leader responsible for designing and leading the AI Forward, Care Teams Management System that connects the Care Team verticals—including Health Coaching, Clinical Operations, Member Services, Operational Innovation, Musculoskeletal Care, and Supply Chain—into a cohesive, high-performing operating model in service of a seamless member experience and reliable, scalable Care Team operations. This leader owns the Care Teams Management System, driving strategic integration, business cadence reviews, cross-vertical coordination, and AI forward continuous performance improvement across the organization. This VP also leads horizontal operating teams spanning capacity planning, data analytics, scheduling & staffing, licensing and credentialing, and program management, and serves as Chief of Staff to the Chief Care Delivery Operations Officer, ensuring the senior leadership team is focused on the highest-priority strategic and operational issues. Ultimately, this leader helps build “World Class Operations to Meet Any Demand” by creating the systems, capabilities, and operating discipline needed for Care Teams to scale with increasing efficiency, effectiveness, and quality over time.
Your Impact
Owns the design, evolution, and execution of the AI forward Care Teams Management System, to ensure Care Teams verticals operate as a single, integrated system. Accountable for operational performance, efficiency, quality, and outcomes for the Care Teams Management System and its horizontal functions.
Owns the 3 year roadmap & strategic plan for Care Teams Operational Excellence and the Care Teams Management System, translating Omada and Care Delivery strategy into concrete priorities and investments.
Represents Care Teams in Omada’s corporate strategy, planning, and execution processes, ensuring Care Teams priorities are effectively integrated into enterprise rhythms and decisions and that enterprise priorities are integrated into the Care Teams.
Accelerate performance improvement across Care Teams by establishing clear methods, tools, and coaching that build capacity within each vertical to self-manage, solve problems locally, and continuously improve their operations.
Ensure key Care Teams processes are visible, measurable, and systematically redesigned as AI is integrated, with an emphasis on creating greater consistency, repeatability, and variation elimination where appropriate across operations.
Lead horizontal operating departments spanning capacity planning, data analytics, staffing, licensing & credentialing, and program management to deliver integrated insights, plans, and execution support that enable Care Teams leaders to achieve their goals.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement across Care Teams by building engagement, shared ownership, and passion for better ways of working, while developing leaders and teams who thrive in ambiguity and consistently raise the bar on execution.
