Manager II, Engineering - SDLC Developer Experience

As an Engineering Manager II within SDLC, you’ll lead a group of talented engineers focused on building tools, systems, and processes that empower developers to deliver high-quality software faster and more reliably. You’ll own key parts of the software development lifecycle—driving improvements in CI/CD, build infrastructure, testing frameworks, or release automation. Your mission is to create an exceptional engineering experience that scales with our growing organization, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

Define the vision, strategy, and technical direction for a part of the SDLC organization in partnership with staff engineers and cross-team leaders relying on our internal platforms

Coach and develop senior engineers and managers, fostering a culture of high performance, inclusion, and psychological safety

Oversee project planning, execution, and technical quality, ensuring operational excellence and system reliability

Participate in hiring and organizational planning for future growth

Who You Are

Experienced working on and leading internal platforms and/or developer productivity & developer experience organizations

You have experience with monorepos, CI/CD and deployment pipelines.

You have experience working with one or more of the following languages: Java, Go, Python, or Rust.

Experience Working With Bazel Is Strongly Preferred.

Excited and engaged about defining the future SDLC powered by Gen AI advancement

A strong people manager, able to attract, develop, and retain top engineering talent

You’re comfortable managing geographically distributed teams (across the Americas & Europe), and you have experience managing other managers.
