Who You Are

10+ years of Global Account Management experience in the payments space

Proven experience growing and scaling strategic accounts and building multi stakeholder relationships.

Extensive knowledge in fintech, banking, payments and money movement

Strong communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, presentation written, email) and track record of creating and executing strategic account plans.

Demonstrated ability to influence others in a matrix environment, gaining buy-in at multiple levels across the organization.

Positive attitude, team player, adaptable, resourceful, and self-starter who is able to lead team independently.

Strong grasp of industry trends and competitive landscape.

Hands on experience in negotiating contracts, pricing models and renewals.

Proven track record of cross selling and upselling and ability to identify new revenue streams based on customer needs.

Experience Leading Business Reviews And Using Data Driven Strategies To Make Informed Decisions.

To support Flex First, we calibrate pay to a competitive value according to working location. Compensation is aligned according to three tiers within the United States:

National

: A baseline tier that applies to most of the geographic territory of the United States.

Premium

: Slightly elevated from the National tier, and oriented toward a narrower set of higher cost-of-living areas, such as Los Angeles CA and Seattle WA

Premium Plus

: A tier for the most expensive working areas, like the San Francisco Bay area and New York City.

Within our Revenue organization at Marqeta, On Target Earnings (OTE) is composed of a mix between annual salary and variable compensation, which is earned based on your individual performance and that of your immediate team.

Premium: $188,000.00 - $235,000

Premium Plus: $204,300 - $255,400
