What this job can offer you
Set the technical strategy for partner integrations and lead multi‑quarter, cross‑functional programs that scale Remote’s ecosystem. Own complex, ambiguous initiatives end to end, define repeatable architectures and standards, and create leverage through SDKs, tooling, and documentation. Influence across Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure APIs and partner experiences are robust, scalable, and enterprise‑grade.
What You Bring
Deep understanding of API architectures, including the ability to evaluate and design integrations using REST and SOAP based on business and technical requirements.
Strong expertise in real time communication patterns, with the ability to determine when to use Webhooks versus WebSockets for scalable partner integrations.
Advanced knowledge of modern authentication and authorization frameworks, including OAuth 2.0 grant types (Authorization Code, PKCE, Client Credentials, etc.) and best practices for secure API access.
Proven ability to lead high-impact partner programs end-to-end, de-risking delivery through design reviews, proofs of concept, and measurable success criteria.
Strong governance instincts around versioning, change management, and translating regulatory or compliance requirements into clear technical guidance.
Ability to produce high-quality reference architectures, technical guides, and training materials while mentoring others and raising documentation quality across the team.
Skill in turning partner insights into clear, sequenced product requirements and driving cross-team initiatives to close platform gaps.
Writes and speaks fluent English.
It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus.
