About The Team

The International Advanced Trading team is building “Coinbase Advanced” trading products to customers across the globe. Based in Singapore and India, we are enhancing the entire derivatives and perpetual trading experience, from mobile to web with a key focus on international expansion. Our goal is to meet the needs of top traders, by developing high-performance, reliable, and scalable products they are using every day.

What You'll Be Doing

Build high-performance backend services using Golang and gRPC, enabling seamless trading experiences for customers worldwide.

Design and develop new order types, improve system performance and scalability, and reduce latency across the stack.

Accelerate time to market for new features and optimize UX for advanced traders.

Champion software engineering best practices in design, coding, testing, documentation, monitoring, and alerting.

Work cross-functionally with global teams across multiple time zones.

Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive high-impact outcomes.

Contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture and participate actively in meetings and planning sessions.

What We Look For

3+ years of experience as a software engineer, with 1+ years specifically in backend development using Golang and gRPC.

Strong understanding of scalable service architecture and system design.

Experience Integrating With Third-party Apis Or Applications.

Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Datadog, or similar cloud infrastructure tools.

Working knowledge of event-driven architectures (Kafka, MQ, etc.).

Experience With Sql Or Nosql Databases.

Familiarity with gRPC, GraphQL, ETL pipelines, and modern development practices.

Ability to work independently and execute complex solutions with minimal guidance.

Nice To Have

Experience Working On Trading Systems

Familiarity with GitHub Actions, rate limiters, caching, metrics, logging, and debugging tools.

Pay Transparency Notice

The target annual

base

salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility + equity eligibility + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision)
