Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering, Activation, you will design, build, and ship mobile app features that empower members to begin their mental health journey. You’ll collaborate with product, design, clinical, and other engineers on the team to turn ideas into safe, measurable, production features - from rapid prototypes to reliable services, APIs, and UIs.

hybrid role

based in New York City

, with an expectation to be in office 2-3 days a week. Our office is located at 60 Madison Avenue.

What You’ll Do

Own the technical design and delivery of mobile features in Flutter

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship high-impact features that improve the member experience

Debug and resolve issues quickly and efficiently

Provide technical leadership in architectural discussions, code reviews, and system planning

Advocate for high engineering standards, including test coverage, documentation, and observability

Participate in an on-call rotation to support system reliability and respond to production issues

Collaborate flexibly across time zones, as needed, to support distributed teams and stakeholder

What Success Looks Like

Deliver projects on time, within scope, and with high stakeholder satisfaction

Maintain high system uptime and low defect rates through strong testing and observability practices

Partner effectively with product, design, data, or other teams, contributing meaningfully to team goals and alignment

Lead high-quality code reviews and technical discussions

Influence team velocity and architecture through mentorship and planning contributions

Drive continual improvement in team delivery, reliability, and system maintainability

What You’ll Bring

5+ years of professional software development with a focus on Flutter applications

Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous 0 to 1 environment

Proven track record leading complex projects end-to-end with minimal oversight

Effective collaborator on cross-functional Agile teams

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

The target base salary range for this position is $159,100 - $196,480

and is part of a competitive total rewards package including equity and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using

Radford Global Compensation Database

at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
