About This Role

As the Senior Product Manager for Cloud Network Monitoring, you’ll own the vision, roadmap, and execution for how our customers visualize, analyze, and secure traffic across their complex network infra environments. You’ll work closely with Network Engineers, Cloud Architects, and SREs to understand how they manage connectivity between VPCs, hybrid clouds, and on-premise data centers, and how our product can provide clarity in an increasingly distributed network landscape.

In addition, you’ll work with product teams across the organization to integrate network signals with AI, infrastructure and application performance data, and you’ll partner with engineers, designers, and go-to-market teams to drive adoption of our network observability solutions.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do

Own the Cloud Network Monitoring business line, using data and customer feedback to drive product growth and identify new revenue opportunities in AIOps

Gather insights from network engineers, cloud providers, and analysts to become an expert on how customers design, troubleshoot, and wish to automate their cloud networks

Define the product roadmap for network observability, combining real-time traffic visualization with intelligent "self-healing" capabilities that reduce Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR)

Drive the strategy for network root cause analysis and remediation, defining how we use AI to detect issues relating to network health and trigger automated remediation workflows.

Work closely with cloud provider teams (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and our internal AI tools to ensure our remediation models are safe, explainable, and effective for critical network infrastructure

Partner with Marketing and GTM teams to translate complex AI and networking concepts into clear value propositions, building trust with customers to hand over control to automated systems

Who You Are

Have 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Product Management, ideally working on cloud networking products, cloud infrastructure, or observability tools

Have hands-on experience or deep familiarity with cloud networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPCs, Load Balancers, CDNs) and traditional networking protocols

Possess a deep understanding of how network performance impacts user experience and application reliability

Think like a business owner and hold yourself and the organization accountable for KPIs related to product adoption and network data ingestion

Have sharp critical thinking and analytical skills and the ability to link technical network metrics with business objectives

Great at execution and can work well across different teams to drive alignment and ensure accountability

Have strong communication skills and the willingness to present your ideas to technical stakeholders (Network Architects) and executives alike

Have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We know not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That’s okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your experience, we encourage you to apply.
