About The Team

Maven is looking for an experienced Senior Product Analyst to drive data-informed decision-making and uncover insights as our product offering expands and our member base scales. As a part of the Product Analytics team, you will partner closely with our Product Management, Engineering and Operations teams to lead technical vision and strategy for analytics efforts that drive product improvements and efficiency. You will have the opportunity to directly impact our business by enabling cross-functional teams to leverage data and insights in their strategy and decision-making.

As a Product Analyst, you will:

Partner with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to define success metrics, analyze trends, and provide actionable recommendations

Lead the design and development of scalable data structures from both internal and 3rd party sources for use in analysis and reporting (primarily using SQL and Python)

Identify areas for improvement and optimization through experimentation and statistical analysis

Drive operational efficiency by identifying areas for process improvement and recommending highly scalable solutions

Effectively communicate insights to stakeholders across Maven, highlighting opportunities to better serve our members

Mentor and guide mid-level analysts, providing guidance to team members on best practices, coding standards, and design principles

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of relevant analytics or data science experience, with 3+ years supporting Product teams

Fluency in SQL and a strong background in data visualization

Hands-on experience with Python or R

An ability to juggle both long-term, strategic projects and ad hoc, urgent requests as needed

Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and mentor junior analysts

Preferred Qualifications

Experience Working With Event-based Data

Comfort with at least on BI tool (Tableau, Looker), and/or dbt

Knowledge of experimentation and/or statistical modeling

For candidates in NYC or CO, the salary range for this role is $166,000 - $195,000  per year. You may also be entitled to receive stock equity, and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.

Customer-facing Analytics & Value Demonstration

Partner with Client Success and Commercial teams to build and deliver data-driven narratives that highlight Maven’s measurable impact on clinical outcomes, cost reduction, and employee well-being for enterprise clients.

Actionable Insights For Stakeholders

Design interactive dashboards and scalable reporting frameworks (SQL, Tableau, Looker, DBT) that empower customer facing teams  to independently track utilization, engagement, and ROI metrics aligned with their organizational goals.

Scalable Solutions & Automation

Architect data sources and reusable reporting models that enable efficient delivery of analytics at scale across dozens of enterprise customers, improving turnaround time and consistency of insights.

Cross-functional Alignment & Project Leadership

Lead analytics initiatives that require collaboration across Client Success, Finance, Sales, and Engineering, ensuring alignment on business objectives, project milestones, and data definitions.  Overall ownership of deliverables.

Process Improvement & Efficiency

Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and reporting processes, implementing scalable automation and documentation practices to increase reliability and transparency for customer deliverables.

Storytelling & Communication

Translate complex data into clear, outcome-oriented insights that resonate with customer executives and HR/benefits leaders, reinforcing Maven’s role as a strategic partner.

Innovation & Emerging Tools

Support adoption automation tools (such as Matik) to scale client reporting and standardize storytelling of clinical and business outcomes across customer portfolios.

Minimum Qualifications

5-7 years of relevant analytics or data science experience

Fluency in SQL and a strong background in data visualization

An ability to juggle both long-term, strategic projects and ad hoc, urgent requests as needed

Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and mentor junior analysts

The base salary range for this role is $166,000 - $195,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.

Maven embraces a flexible hybrid work model. Our teams primarily operate from the New York Metropolitan area, NY, San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C. For those in our New York City office, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to work onsite three days a week  (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). For those based in San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C., we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to attend quarterly Work Together Days within these cities. This policy aims to balance remote work flexibility with the benefits of face-to-face interaction.
