About The Role

We are looking for talented and innovative performance test engineers to join our team. As a Senior Performance Analyst at ClickUp, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our platform's performance, scalability, and reliability. If you are passionate about performance testing and eager to tackle complex challenges in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement performance testing strategies to evaluate system performance.

Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks.

Collaborate with development teams to optimize system performance.

Develop automated performance testing scripts and tools.

Monitor system performance and provide insights for improvements.

Ensure the platform can handle large-scale user loads efficiently.

Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in performance testing.

What We’re Looking For

Recent and strong experience with complex browser technology web application debugging and performance analysis.

Good understanding of chrome performance traces and how they correlate to client application performance experience.

Strong experience in performance testing and analysis.

Strong background in performance engineering, including bottleneck analysis and root cause identification.

Hands-on experience with APM tools (Datadog RUM, APM, DBM preferred) for monitoring and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting network HAR files and performance metrics.

Deep understanding of performance profiles across multiple application layers (front-end, API, database).

Strong observability knowledge, including logging, monitoring, and alerting best practices. You understand how observability data is collected, injected and aggregated for both frontend and backend.

Proficiency in performance testing tools and frameworks like memlab.

Solid understanding of system architecture and performance optimization.

Experience With Cloud Environments And Distributed Systems.

Passion for enhancing user experience through performance excellence.
