Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Sr. Analyst, Regulatory Licensing to join our Corporate Counsel team.

About The Role
The Sr. Analyst, Regulatory Licensing is a key member of the Corporate Legal team responsible for project managing and supporting discrete tasks to ensure Oscar is compliant with federal and state product filing requirements. You will work closely with internal Oscar teams and interfaces with our external regulators.
You will report into the Sr. Manager, Regulatory Licensure.
Work Location
This position is based in our Tempe, AZ office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule.
Pay Transparency
The base pay for this role is: $34.39 - $45.14 per hour. You are also eligible for employee benefits and monthly vacation accrual at a rate of 15 days per year.
Responsibilities
Manage the preparation and filing of Oscar's commercial insurance products through the annual filings for assigned states and regions, serving as an advisor to teams
Develop processes for internal tracking and monitoring annual and ad hoc filings with diverse teams, including maintaining a repository of previously received objections to decrease YOY objection totals
Build and support successful relationships with regulatory bodies, including state insurance regulators (e.g., Arizona Department of Insurance, Florida Office of Insurance Regulation, Texas Department of Insurance)
Be the subject matter expert on assigned states and contribute to the development of a repository of internal procedural guides on annual filing obligations to support teams and retain institutional knowledge
Track and communicate filing objections received and guide overall resolution together with impacted teams
Develop sustainable processes which simplify our growing team's outputs while ensuring high quality deliverables
Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
2+ years of licensing experience, ideally in the health plan/managed care space.
1+ year of experience designing and improving workflows
Bachelor's degree or 4 years of commensurate experience.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Bonus Points
Familiarity with ACA marketplace plans, rules and regulations
1+ years of SERFF, and/or network data analysis experience

Pay Transparency
Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
