Toast’s Investor Relations team is a lean, fast-paced, high-leverage and high-performance team responsible for crafting an effective communication program between the company and investors. The team is looking for a Sr Analyst to support our investor relations strategy and analytics deep dives. In this role, the person will report to the Vice President of Investor Relations, Treasury & ESG and will work closely with various teams across the organization including finance, analytics, legal, marketing, and competitive intelligence teams.

A day in the life (Responsibilities)

Build & maintain industry and company-specific research and benchmarking

Analyze the industries within which Toast operates and serve as an internal expert on those industries & companies

Partner closely with finance, accounting, and legal on quarterly earnings deliverables

Partner closely with finance and business partners to perform relative analyses on business results and trends

Own all aspects of investor interaction strategy including shareholder analyses and meeting allocations

Own day-to-day tasks including logging asks and interactions with the investment community, managing the Investor Relations calendar and website, and coordinating with IR vendors

What You'll Need To Thrive (requirements)

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred

4+ years of experience in sell side research or investment banking; experience in either Software or Payments industries preferred

Strong quantitative and analytical skills with innate curiosity to go deep on topics and the highest standards for accuracy and precision

Financial literacy and understanding of public-company materials and quarterly reporting cadence

Strong knowledge of financial modeling and valuation concepts

Excellent exec-level communication (verbal and written)

Advanced use of AI tools on a daily basis such as managing a prompt library, automating multi-step workflows, experimenting with agentic workflows from multiple vendors

Comfortability working under pressure in a dynamic environment; able to adhere to strict deadlines and manage shifting priorities

Knowledge of and comfortability with Google Suite tools including Google Drive, Slides, Sheets, and Docs

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience.

In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions, if eligible), benefits, and equity (if eligible).
