The RHM Compliance team’s mission is to uphold and evolve Robinhood’s standards of ethical and regulatory conduct by providing proactive advisory, communication monitoring, and strategic guidance across the organization. We help ensure that all teams operate with integrity and in compliance with industry regulations. Our sub-teams span across Electronic Communications Monitoring, Compliance Advisory for M&A activities, Compliance AI, and Reporting & Metrics.
As a Compliance Intern, you will support various activities within the Corporate Compliance function. You will own impactful projects that meaningfully contribute to team initiatives to improve the culture of ethics and compliance across Robinhood and its brand.
This Role Is Based In Our New York City Office, With In-person Attendance Expected At Least 3 Days Per Week.

What you’ll do
Support the Corporate Compliance and Policy and Ethics Office teams in their daily tasks related to monitoring compliance with the regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Work with the teams to identify patterns and trends to reduce find efficiencies, including opportunities to leverage AI tools responsibly to enhance compliance processes.
Assist in compliance due diligence and integration related tasks for M&A and organic international growth initiatives.
Support the Ethics Office with projects related to conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment, culture of compliance, and ethical decision-making frameworks.
Assist in the review of the Policy governance process as needed, including drafting, updating, and tracking policies across the organization.
What You Bring
Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program in Finance, Business, Government/Political Science, or a related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptive in fast-paced environment, with an ability to multi-task and work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
A passion for Robinhood and/or financial markets, with an interest in improving compliance processes and projects to support operational excellence.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected hourly range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
