The Real Estate team at Robinhood oversees the design, construction, and vendor management of our global workplaces. The team delivers large-scale tenant improvement projects—including interior fit-outs, retrofits, decommissioning, and office and technology campus builds—while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. In partnership with Workplace Operations, Corporate Engineering, and Security, the team creates functional, brand-aligned environments across our global footprint.

As a Real Estate Project Manager, you will lead complex projects that shape Robinhood’s workplaces worldwide! Reporting to the Senior Manager of Real Estate, you will manage end-to-end delivery of major construction initiatives, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met. You will partner with internal teams and external vendors to deliver spaces that support employee experience and reflect Robinhood’s brand. We’re looking for a proactive, results-oriented project manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and can drive multiple initiatives simultaneously. You bring strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.

This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA and New York, NY offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

Lead multiple concurrent office buildouts end-to-end, including workplace strategy, programming, design, permitting, procurement, and construction, ensuring alignment with design standards and leadership expectations

Partner with Workplace, Corporate Engineering, IT, and leadership to align space planning, employee experience, and integrated building technologies (AV, network, security, smart systems)

Coordinate low-voltage infrastructure, including IDF/MDF, data, and workplace technology deployments

Manage RFP processes and vendor selection for architects, contractors, and key service providers

Develop and maintain project controls and reporting (schedule, budget, risks, KPIs), using data to inform decisions and mitigate issues early

Lead stakeholder engagement and planning for moves, restacks, and new office launches

Contribute to global workplace standards, design guidelines, and scalable project delivery playbooks

Review and validate drawings, schedules, budgets, and technical documentation from architects, contractors, and vendors

Manage program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, funding requests, and cash flow tracking

Drive cost control, value engineering, and constructability reviews to optimize project outcomes

Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance with specifications

Oversee project and contract closeout, including invoicing, retention release, and final deliverables

Build and manage vendor relationships, identifying opportunities to standardize processes and scale programs

Partner with Finance and Workplace Operations to track fixed assets across sites, ensuring accurate inventory and reporting

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

7+ years of experience managing commercial design and construction projects, with a focus on office buildouts and tenant improvements

Demonstrated experience leading projects across all phases, including programming, design, permitting, procurement, and construction

Experience With Contract Administration, Rfp Processes, Vendor Management, And Third-party Consultant Oversight

Strong experience with project controls, including budgeting, cost tracking, scheduling, forecasting, and performance reporting

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize across competing timelines and partners

Strong communication, negotiation, and issue resolution skills

Experience Interpreting Construction Documents, Drawings, And Specifications

Familiarity with design and construction tools such as AutoCAD, BIM platforms, and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)

Professional certifications such as PMP or CCM are a plus

Proficiency with collaboration and workflow tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Jira) and procurement platforms (e.g., Coupa), with comfort adopting new tools to improve efficiency and decision-making

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
