Oracle Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems team at Discord partners with departments like Finance & Accounting, FP&A, & Sales Ops to streamline operations and improve system efficiency. We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our Business Systems team. This role will be responsible for analyzing business needs, documenting requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support various business system initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, along with high-level knowledge of enterprise business processes and experience with Jira Service Management

What You'll Be Doing

Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand, document, and translate requirements into clear and concise Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications.

Business System Support & Enhancements: Assist in supporting and improving business processes related to Order to Cash (O2C), Procure to Pay (P2P), and Record to Report (R2R) functions.

Jira Service Management (JSM) Administration: Track and manage business system requests, incidents, and enhancements in Jira Service Management to ensure timely resolution.

SOX Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure all system changes and enhancements adhere to SOX compliance and financial controls.

Testing & Validation: Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and system validation for new implementations and enhancements

What You Should Have

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and experience working in the business systems department

2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role and have experience with Oracle Fusion ERP.

High-level understanding of enterprise business processes and their impact on financial and operational workflows.

Experience with Jira Service Management or similar ticketing systems and strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with attention to detail.

Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to document business requirements clearly.

Familiarity with SOX compliance and audit processes.

This position is US-based and can be remote but if you live in the Bay Area, you’re welcome to work from our beautiful SF office.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,000 to $139,500 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, or benefits.
