About The Team

The New Verticals team is part of DoorDash’s new exciting initiatives. As DoorDash grows to be a market leader in on-demand restaurant delivery, the opportunity is clear for new horizons and new products to expand this leadership. New Verticals Grocery and Retail is at the forefront of the logistical response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and this team is on the cutting edge of this new product. Our catalog launch and catalog update experts will be shaping and informing the process of building and maintaining inventory catalogs for some of our most valued grocery and retail partners as they expand their footprint in this new offering across the country. Our onboarding experts will ensure that the Non-Rx merchants are being onboarded with the correct features and have specific support on the Mx Services team. With this team, you’ll work with gift shops, florists, grocers, liquor stores, and many different retailers!

About The Role

The New Verticals team is divided into 3 sub teams.

On the Catalog Launch and Catalog Updates team, you will be working with large amounts of inventory data provided by our new grocery and convenience partners to best prepare them for launch on the platform or updating their current catalog. You will own and collaborate on catalog building, updating, and process development + improvement.. You’ll become an expert in our Grocery product taxonomy and how to make a large amount of inventory data fit with our pre-existing layout to make shopping convenient and fun for DoorDash Consumers.

On the Onboarding team, you will be working with these new merchants and ensure that their onboarding experience is as smooth as possible. You will onboard stores on a specific user intelligence and apply the correct settings to a store so they can be on our platform. You will also interact with Merchants to provide white glove service and create a strong relationship with our New Verticals Merchants when it comes to menu, pictures or tablets.

Compensation

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.
