About The Role

Samsara is seeking a Manager, Sales Operations to play a pivotal role in designing, scaling, and elevating the systems, processes, and policies that power our global sales engine. As a trusted partner to senior leaders across Samsara’s go-to-market teams, you will own and scale critical Run-the-Business (RTB) processes, ensuring our sales organization operates with speed, accuracy, and consistency as we grow past $2B in revenue. This leader will have an outsized impact on the future of our sales organization by delivering long-term, transformative solutions that bring together people, process, and technology across the pre-sales customer journey.

In this role, you will:

Own, scale, and uplevel Run-the-Business (RTB) processes that are critical to keeping Sales running seamlessly—driving accuracy, speed, and continuous improvement.

Hire, develop, and retain talent on the team, with a view towards using automation to expand per person capacity

Drive operational excellence in account segmentation, territory planning, and execution, building the frameworks and analyses that guide how we assign and manage books of business.

Work with systems and data teams to enhance workflows, automate manual tasks, and drive efficiency across the Sales organization.

Leverage Salesforce CRM and advanced Excel logic to manage complex ownership models, territory rules, and opportunity distribution.

Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum Requirements For The Role

5+ years of experience in sales tools management or related roles.

2+ years of people management experience

Proven success in managing tools and/or processes for large sales teams (1,000+  users).

Demonstrated ability to use AI tools and automation to increase productivity and transform team capacity

Strong project management skills with experience in implementation and ROI measurement.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Familiarity with CRM systems, sales automation tools, and productivity software

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field; MBA is optional

An Ideal Candidate Also Has

Expertise in Salesforce CRM (Administrator experience a plus).

Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency.

Experience In Account Segmentation, Territory Planning, And Sales Operations Execution.

Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

Project/program management experience; familiarity with Lead-to-Cash systems or process improvement methodologies is a plus.
