As a Mid-Market Sales Manager you will build and develop a team of Account Executives within a fast-paced environment. This team will be focused exclusively on selling Gong Foundations to net new customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Hire, train and develop an accomplished team of net-new Mid-Market Account Executives focused on hunting and closing new business

Develop and coach the sales, product, and industry skills of each team member, with an emphasis on prospecting and new business acquisition

Assist your team throughout their sales cycles to help them land six figure new-logo accounts

Regularly report on both team and individual results, including new logo/pipeline generation metrics

Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity across the new business sales motion

QUALIFICATIONS

Located in the tri-state area within a commutable distance to the Lehi office.

We operate on a hybrid working model, which we define as 3 days a week in-office.

3+ years of experience building and managing a high-performing sales team (preferably focused on net new business for a SaaS company).

Successful track record of 100%+ of quota achievement as both a manager and as an individual contributor

in a new business/hunting capacity

Experienced selling to Enterprise level accounts as an individual contributor or manager

Previous experience recruiting, retaining, and developing a team from the ground up

Experience managing and improving net-new Account Executive KPIs (e.g., pipeline generation, new logo close rate, outbound activity)

High level of business acumen and understanding of how revenue leaders think

Previous experience selling into sales leadership preferred

The annual OTE for this position is $225,000- $270,000 USD.

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
