The

Growth Engineering

team focuses on expanding Robinhood’s customer base and increasing engagement by improving onboarding, activation, and retention experiences across our mobile platform. The team partners closely with product, data, and design to build features that help more people access financial tools and make informed decisions. You’ll contribute to experiments and product improvements that directly influence user growth and long-term customer value!

As an iOS Engineer, you will design and build high-quality mobile features that support user acquisition and engagement goals. You’ll work on improving app performance, reliability, and usability while partnering with product managers and designers to deliver measurable improvements in key metrics such as conversion and retention.

This Role Is Based In Our

Menlo Park, CA

office with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain iOS features that improve onboarding, activation, and user retention

Write clean, testable Swift code and contribute to improving app performance and reliability

Partner with product managers and designers to implement features that improve conversion and engagement metrics

Analyze experiment results and iterate on features to improve user outcomes

Contribute to code reviews and share knowledge to support team development

What You Bring

You have 4+ years of experience building and shipping iOS applications using Swift

You have experience improving app performance, reliability, and user experience in production environments

You are comfortable working with product and design partners to deliver user-facing features tied to measurable outcomes

You have experience using experimentation or A/B testing to guide product decisions

You communicate clearly and contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment
