Datadog is seeking a HRIS Manager who will be responsible for managing and supporting projects within Workday. This hands-on technical role demands excellent knowledge of HR business processes and methodologies along with a strong analytical and reporting background.
A successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Workday and the ability to focus on one or more of the functional areas in People Operations. This will include the ability to assess systems and business processes, coordinate with peers, project managers, and management on impacts to other Datadog systems or business processes. You will play a critical role in the continued deployment of new functionality, developing solutions and enabling the continued growth of Datadog.

What You’ll Do
Lead end-to-end technical support and configuration for Workday HCM (including Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Talent, and Benefits), ensuring alignment with job architecture and organizational design.
Apply deep functional knowledge to assess downstream impacts to integrations and third-party systems.
Design, develop, and maintain custom Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to meet business requirements.
Partner cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Business Operations, and global People teams to gather requirements, recommend solutions, and drive delivery on Workday-related projects.
Serve as a Workday Subject Matter Expert (SME), advising stakeholders on best practices, optimization opportunities, and configuration governance.
Manage testing and quality assurance, including regression testing for system updates, new configurations, and integrations.
Collaborate with technical teams on interface design, integrations, and maintenance, ensuring data integrity and scalability.
Support the creation of system documentation, test plans, and training materials to enable adoption and process consistency.
Partner with Recruiting Teams to manage data flow and process alignment between Workday and Greenhouse.
Who You Are
A seasoned Workday professional with 7+ years of hands-on experience in HRIS administration; Workday Pro certifications are a plus.
Highly skilled in Workday HCM, Payroll, Advanced Compensation, or related modules, with end-to-end implementation and enhancement experience.
End to end implementation experience including project management, issue management, communication and change management
Be able to manage projects completely independently whilst using sound judgment to escalate issues when necessary
Technically fluent in Workday integrations, orchestrations, and Extend.
Adept at translating business requirements into scalable, user-friendly HRIS solutions.
Comprehensive experience configuring and deploying complex Workday Security models
Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and manage multiple priorities concurrently
