Role Description

The

Core Web Experience team

(formerly

Bridge FSS+Dash team

)

has been

working on one of the company’s top priorities to

integrat

e

Dash

’s

AI capabilities

(e.g.

Chat side bar

) within the FSS product.

We will continue this work in 2026 to add more contextual value and drive up engagement.

We will also focus on s

implifying how customers accomplish the jobs they already hire Dropbox for

(e.g.

search and file actions) and

the broader workflow around those jobs

.

Responsibilities

Integrate Dash capabilities in the FSS product

– Develop and implement thoughtful, contextual ways to in

tegrate Dash capabilities

(e.g.

Chat) in our FSS product

, ensuring a seamless experience.

Simplify and build a reliable and performant foundation

that supports core jobs like uploading, retrieving, organizing, and acting on content.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

– Work closely with

Product and Design

to shape vision, contribute to planning, and execute on high-impact initiatives.

Full stack

Development

– Build and optimize user experiences across

surfaces

, ensuring consistency and performance.

Innovation & Problem-Solving

– Explore new areas, experiment with different approaches, and drive solutions that enhance user adoption and engagement.

Independent Ownership

– Take full ownership of technical execution, making key decisions while collaborating with multiple teams, including Dash.

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience.

Strong Product Thinking

– Ability to understand user needs, contribute to product vision, and drive impactful solutions

.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

– Comfortable working closely with

Product, Design, and multiple engineering teams

to drive initiatives forward.

Independence & Problem-Solving

– Self-motivated, able to dive into new areas, experiment with different approaches, and drive execution with minimal guidance.

Full-Stack Expertise

– Experience working across

both

Frontend

(React,

TypeScript)

and

Backend

(Python)

is a plus.

Experience With Experimentation

– Familiarity with

A/B testing, user adoption strategies, and growth-driven development

in a product-focused environment.

Performance Optimization

– Knowledge of scaling, performance tuning, and optimizing

multi-surface applications.
