The Cashiering team’s mission is to ensure accurate, timely movement of funds across customer brokerage and retirement accounts while delivering a compliant, high-quality client experience. We operate with ethics and precision at the center of everything we do to protect our customers' assets. Our team works closely with partners in Compliance, Operations, and Technology to streamline cashiering processes. We foster a supportive, collaborative environment where team members work together to solve complex operational challenges! As a Cashiering Specialist, you will manage high-volume cashiering workflows—from ACH and wires to checks and transfers—serving as a key operational link between advisors, clients, custodians, and internal partners. In this position, you will execute transactions with high accuracy and efficiency while adhering to strict regulatory requirements. You will collaborate daily with advisors and internal operations teams to resolve inquiries and transaction discrepancies. Your work directly impacts the customer experience by ensuring that fund movements are completed seamlessly. This role provides an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge of financial markets and back-office operations!
This Role Is Based In Our Westlake, Tx Office(s),
with in-person attendance expected 5 days per week during the 6-month onboarding period. After onboarding, in-person attendance is expected at least 3 days a week.

What you’ll do
Process a high volume of cashiering transactions (ACH, wires, checks, journals, custodian-to-custodian transfers) accurately, efficiently, and in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and manage daily transaction queues to meet strict deadlines and service-level expectations, researching and resolving discrepancies and inquiries from initial intake to final resolution.
Serve as a primary contact for advisors, their staff, and clients across phone, email, and internal systems, providing clear updates and a seamless, professional experience.
Partner with our clearing firm and internal teams (Operations, Compliance, Technology, Advisor Services) to facilitate transactions, resolve issues, and support collaborative projects across these departments.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client experience within cashiering operations.
What You Bring
Strong knowledge of cashiering procedures, workflows, and regulatory considerations, along with a basic understanding of financial markets and the securities industry.
Exceptional attention to detail and organization, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
Clear, professional communication skills, including excellent data entry, written, and verbal communication, and comfort engaging with clients and advisors over the phone.
1-2 years experience in back-office operations—preferably in financial services or banking—and confidence handling transactional workflows using tools like Microsoft Word and Excel.
Proactive problem-solving abilities, strong analytical, decision-making, and critical thinking skills, with accountability for results and the ability to adapt quickly to new systems.

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + benefits.
Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
