Business Operations Representative I (West Coast)

Toast is driven by building the restaurant platform that helps restaurants adapt, take control, and get back to what they do best: building the businesses they love.  The Business Operations team at Toast is the critical link between our Sales and Onboarding organizations. We ensure that when a restaurant joins Toast, they do so with 100% data integrity. You will verify complex data points, review contracts for accuracy, and manage the technical handoff that allows our Onboarding team to bring the customer live.

About This Roll* (responsibilities)

Data Verification & Quality Assurance

Perform meticulous audits of new deals, verifying critical business information, ownership structures, and banking details to ensure 100% accuracy.

Contract Integrity

Review signed agreements and follow up on missing documentation or required forms to maintain strict deal compliance.

Cross-functional Handoff

Utilize Salesforce and internal platforms to transition deals from the Sales cycle into the Onboarding pipeline, ensuring a clean and seamless customer journey.

Month-end Execution

Own the high-volume "sprint" at the end of each sales cycle. You will manage an influx of deals to ensure all customer contracts are officially processed and booked by the month-end deadline.

We are seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy, intellectually curious candidate with excellent communication skills and the ability to learn quickly.

Based in the Pacific Time Zone or ability to work PST hours

Bachelor’s Degree and/or 1+ years of relevant experience

Extreme attention to detail and meticulous organization

Strong technical aptitude

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Confidence prioritizing and making time-sensitive decisions in a fast-paced environment

Excellent time management and a strong sense of urgency

Relentless problem-solver

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience.

In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions, if eligible), benefits, and equity (if eligible).
