Bilingual (Spanish) Nurse Practitioner - Virtual Health Assessment

About The Role

Oscar Medical Group runs a Virtual Health Assessment (VHA) program that outreaches and virtually engages Oscar Health Insurance members in an evaluation and management visit. You may also be cross-trained to help support teams across Oscar Medical Group, including Virtual Urgent Care.

You will report into the Director, Virtual Health Assessment.

Hours

We offer full-time schedules across 4-day (10-hour) and 5-day (8-hour) options, with day, mid-day, and evening shifts available (ranging from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM). Specific shift choices and lunch breaks will be selected during the application process.

Work Location

This is a remote position, open to candidates who reside in: Arizona; Arkansas; California; Colorado; District of Columbia; Florida; Georgia; Illinois; Massachusetts; Michigan; Nevada; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New York; North Carolina; Ohio; Pennsylvania; Texas; or Virginia. While your daily work will be completed from your home office, occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.

Pay Transparency

The base pay for this role is: $116,400 - $145,500 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, annual vacation grant of up to 18 days per year and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care for patients in a virtual setting

Use prescriptive authority as part of a collaborative practice agreement, consulting and partnering with Physicians on the care team for comprehensive care, particularly with complex patients

Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers

Use tooling to allow virtual "exams" including remote home monitoring equipment, remote physical exam, remote point of care diagnostics

Participate in collaborative care model with multiple care team members including registered nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisor where applicable

Participate in required meetings to support patient care including huddles, case conferencing and regular service line All Hands

Provide feedback to support improvement in operational workflows and product features

Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program

Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC)

3+ years experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care

2+ years of experience delivering virtual care

Licensed In A Minimum Of 2 Core Oscar States

Must have FL License

Preferred TX, OH or NJ

Demonstrated fluency in written and spoken Spanish

Bonus Points

Compact RN license (if an APRN)

Experience Working With Remote Diagnostic And Home Monitoring Tools

Able and willing to obtain additional licensure in Oscar Medical Group states

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
