The

Eng Growth

team builds products and systems that help expand customer engagement, increase product adoption, and improve the overall user journey across Robinhood’s platform. The team focuses on developing features that guide customers through onboarding, education, and ongoing usage while ensuring performance and reliability at scale!

As an Android Engineer, you will design and develop mobile features that support growth initiatives across the brokerage experience. You will work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to build Android applications that enable seamless onboarding, personalized experiences, and consistent performance across key user journeys!

This Role Is Based In Our Menlo Park, Ca Office, With In-person Attendance Expected At Least 3 Days Per Week.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain Android features that support brokerage and trading experiences for ENG Gold customers

Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure accurate and timely data delivery in mobile applications

Improve app performance, reliability, and responsiveness across key trading workflows

Write and maintain tests to ensure correctness of application behavior

Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions to improve engineering quality

What You Bring

You bring 0-3 years experience building Android applications using Kotlin or Java

You have experience building UI using Android Views and/or Jetpack Compose

You have experience integrating APIs and handling real-time or near real-time data

You write clear, maintainable, and well-tested code

You are comfortable debugging performance issues and improving application reliability

You communicate effectively with engineers, product managers, and designers

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
